4.5 stars! I really like Liane Moriarty’s writing. I am have read three of her books and am always sucked in and finish it within a few days. Alice woke up after bumping her head and had forgotten the last decade of her life. It was quite the shock to find out that instead of being almost 30 and expecting her first baby, she was nearly 40 and recently separated from the husband she still felt like she adored. This is one of those books that you will either identify with it or it will seem very odd and long winded.
I loved this book - because I could identify with the topics (family, marriage, infertility, loyalty, death, life, etc.) addressed. This was well written, and written in a way to keep the suspense going until the very end. Sometimes I wanted to speed through just to see if Alice made the decision I thought she should. But then I would have missed the experience of feeling and understanding.

This book kept me going until the Epilogue! SO, SO riveting. I was happy, then sad, then happy, then sad, and you'll just have to read it to see how it ends. Good writing, easy reading!

I loved the way the book was structured, but the ending felt a bit rushed and nonchalant to me considering all of the drama the reader goes through to get to that point.
My second Liane Moriarty book--excellent! What a read. Great characters and development and story. Hang on till the end...
