Deliciously creepy and funny in turn, with a pervasive and palpable sense of foreboding. I'd have liked more, but in a perverse way it might be less intriguing if everything were neatly tied up.

Iubesc stilul literar al lui Dickens și de fapt al tuturor clasicilor britanici, așa că nu mă îndoiam nicio clipă că acest roman nu va fi pe placul meu. Este un roman clasic scris în 1870 și orice minus i-aș găsi, nu îl putem compara cu literatura de mai târziu, când și literatura a evoluat foarte mult. Awww...can somebody pleeease find some secret notes from Dickens about the ending of this book? I couldn't sleep thinking how Dickens would have finished this story. A delicious mystery setting in a gothic cathedral town in England. Great characters as always, full of psychological puzzle and passionate love stories. Edwin Drood, what happened to you?
