I just love this series! I wish a certain someone who is near and dear to our main character would've appeared more in this one, but I still really enjoyed it. Anne has a way of making life better for everyone she comes in contact with. If everyone did this, the world would be a better place!

Cons:
-tries to fit so much time in a little books, which means that we just kind of skim Anne’s life
-I wish we would have seen some response from Gilbert but I guess that maybe wouldn’t have fit well
-so much rambling by people, almost like trying to make up for Anne growing up
Pros:
-the rest😃
Not sure I would take the time to read again.

Anne becomes principle of Summerside High School for three years before she gets married. The book alternates between Anne's letters and telling the story from a third person perspective. A lot of new characters were introduced, most only for a chapter or two. I missed all the people from the previous books. This felt more like a series of short stories, each with Anne saving the day, than a complete story. Not my favorite in the series.

I like these on cd better, but couldn't find this one without requesting an Interlibrary loan.
