What Members Thought
This is not your average history book. The narrative in this is a rather irregular one - it skips around in time and place, providing more of impressions than of solid signposts in a historical road. This isn't to say I didn't learn anything - I absolutely did, both about Spanish history and about important medieval philosophers - but the skipping can both make things interesting and also make lines of thought hard to follow.
