The existence of Tove Jansson moves me to tears. Her unadorned creative living and working on an island, together with her life partner (wife to all extents and purposes) Tuulikki Pietilä and her quiet, inclusive, generous, weird Moomins are, to me, the stuff of utopia. Just knowing that her life happened gladdens my heart.

Anna , a children's book illustrator is now living with Katri and her slightly mentally handicapped younger brother, Mats.
