Totally enjoyable! I read this in French which is not a language I'm fluent in but I was pleased to understand all of it. This is not always the case with graphic novels (bandes dessinées) as the language tends to be colloquial; also the convention of having handwritten text makes it hard to distinguish between C and L, H and M; but this is here all mitigated by the wonderful artwork and thr helpful glossary bc the idiom isn't even 100% clear to all French speakers, peppered as it is with the vo ...more
