3,5 stars really. I have not read the previous books in the series, but I was able to enjoy the book anyway. I think the translation was fine.

I luvvvv this crazy book about a city full of books =) the narrator is an aspiring author, and he is a dinosaur, so it's another plus point! =D The writer's imagination seemed to get no ends, secondhand bookshops, old antiquarian, book catacombs, secret society, bookhunters, and the mysterious shadow king, the king of the catacomb. it's a mixture of China Mieville and Neil Gaiman. Crazy, hilarious, funny and adventurous.
