Kate Morton does not disappoint. While this book wasn't as much of a page turner as The Secret Keeper, it did keep me reading late into the night. Never good on a school night. Morton is so good at creating various plot lines that interconnect across time periods and, in this story, countries. There is always that twist at the end to keep you guessing. And, they are easy reads to boot.

A sweet family mystery across a century and two continents. Very different than my normal reading, which made it a nice escapist change of pace for holiday travel this week. I did love the Britishisms and Australia-isms here, as well as the descriptions of the garden and early 20th c. England. A bit predictable and the prose was so transparent as to not have its own soul, but enjoyable.

Add to list of "chick lit I don't hate." (maybe I should make a shelf)
