When I think of Our Mutual Friend, I think of Desmond, from Lost, who had read everything Dickens ever wrote and was saving OMF to read before he died. I was always worried he would die unexpectedly and waste a great novel.

A masterpiece of writing. I almost felt like I was inside the story as an observer to the goings on.
