I listened to this as audioCDs and it was a good choice for me as I have seen the text and think it would have slowed me down and I would not have appreciated the story so much with the flow of it so affected. There were several sections to the story of Janie, and each one seemed to be punctuated by a different man and ultimately this is a love story.
