This was a painful read, however beautifully written in a prose-like way thanks to the brilliance of Sylvia Plath. We have this amazing woman who is depressed, and in today's world, could have been taken care of, properly diagnosed, and given meds to help her. I had heard of the book, but had no idea what it was about. I think I am glad of that fact. I just got to blindly experience her transformation in the middle of the book, just as she did in real life. Overall I really enjoyed the book.
