Hawks makes a drunken bet with a friend that he can hitchhike around Ireland for a month with a fridge in tow. He soon draws the attention of local media, and many comic episodes and wacky encounters ensue. A delightful bit of whimsy, written with a light touch.
a zany travelogue that gave me a good picture of the Irish people, if not really the geography.
