Shelves: nonfiction, travelogues, memoir
Written late in his life, and published in English just after his death, this book by the legendary Polish journalist is about as close to a memoir as we will get. I picked it thinking it was a sort of "in the footsteps of..." travelogue, retracing some of the journeys of the ancient Greek writer (the first journalist, according to Kapuscinski).
