I had really hoped that I would like this book, but unfortunately, I had to force myself to finish it. I didn't like the story, the characters or the style (stream-of-consciousness). Autumn was so much better.

This was a difficult read on the Kindle due to the writing style and lack of usual punctuation a me it left me flipping back and forth several times to make sure I has not done an extra touch on the reading device. It was distracting as a result and unenjoyable.
I read this because it was listed on 1,001 Books to Read Before You Die. I don't recommend it to my reading group of circle of family and friends unless you also are interested in tackling this reading list. ...more
