Outdated but still marvelous novel of children with telepathic powers living in a rigid and deadly apocalyptic world. We can relate to the theme of not fitting into society and it being a serious threat to the prosecuting powers to be. Four stars for the novel being so ahead of its time and the gripping writing.

Rereading of a sci-fi favorite first read as a teen. It was just as enjoyable the second (or was it third?) time. The version I originally reread was entitled Rebirth, though I'm not sure if that's the UK or US title.
