I felt privileged to listen to the inner thoughts and heartfelt emotions of all these characters. And I admire Virginia Woolfe's keen understanding of human beings and her lovely use of language.

I had started The Hours by Michael Cunningham before realizing that I needed to read Mrs. Dalloway first. I am not a huge fan of Stream-of-consciousness writing style, but I did like sections of this book. I am not going to review this book, because there are volumes already out there on this book. My favorite character was Septimus, a WWI veteran suffering from PTSD. In the end, I liked this book, and I am glad I read it.

So, meh. I read it, it was okay. Took about an hour so not much time lost. Before Woolf fans jump down my throat, I LIKE Woolf's writing. LOVE A Room of One's Own. But this one left me lukewarm.
