I just loved this so much. As I'm new-ish to audio books, I'm coming to realize that the narrator plays a big part in the experience of the novel. Frederick Davidson is so good, I hope I get to hear more books that he reads. While a bit long-winded, this story is one of growth, repentance, understanding and compassion. I loved it. I remember liking it in HS, but I am not sure I understood it as well as I did on this most recent "reading." Twenty-five years of life experience might do that to a person. The narrator (Simon Prebble) for the audiobook was excellent. The audiobook I listened to was through Blackstone Audio, 2011.
