One of Dickens's bests, in my opinion. I enjoyed the story so much and Pip is a wonderful, humane character who I can relate well. The coming of age story still has some coincidences that are pretty corny, and the ending is too Dickensian anyway, but I still enjoyed it tremendously. This book reminds me of so many other Dickens's works that I haven't read.

Liked it very much. The portrait of Ms. Havisham is much more interesting than pop culture boils her down to be. GE isn't as great as David Copperfield, IMO, but is still absolutely worth the read. Simon Vance as narrator for the audiobook is always spectacular!
