My son is reading this for lit circle at school, so I thought I would read it as we'll. It is a vivid depiction of one fictional story of the holocaust. I am glad I read this book.

An interesting method to teach about the concentration camps and Holocaust. Heartbreaking. Well-written for the 6th-8th age group. Good introduction tona horribly tough topic.
