What Members Thought
I was not particularily fond of this book due to the fact that it is mostly sad. Almost all characters in this novel are not content. They are almost all book tormented by conscious or guilt. Even when they are happy, they cannot be joyfull. Especially Paul and Miriam are in this situation.
Another thing that I noticed in this book is that the author uses often inner voice of characters. Sometimes this is turning into a dialogue, which seems to be an interesting technique.
