What Members Thought

One of the most absurd, fantastical stories from Agatha Christie. The twist at the end of the book is a bit too much, but somehow fits with the tone of this book. The Orient Express in the midst of snow, the mysterious murder, the unreliable characters and testimonies, and of course- the grand Hercule Poirot. Everything fits nicely in the end, and even though the ending and Poirot's decision are a bit uncharacteristic, I still think this is one of the best of Dame Agatha. Oh, and the movie adapt

My son read this book to satisfy a requirement at school. He generally dislikes reading, but really enjoyed this book. I couldn't remember reading any Agatha Christie as an adult, so I read it as well. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

A quaint, old time-y murder mystery. Totally unsolvable but fun and well-written. This genre isn't usually my go-to, but I enjoyed this, it reads quickly, and recommended for anyone who likes books that take them back in time.

This is one of those books I've always heard about but never read so I decided to give it a go. It was entertaining although somewhat formulaic. I will say the ending surprised me more than I expected it to. However, if I'm going to read a classic British mystery novel, I think I prefer Sherlock Holmes.
