There is so much to admire about this book...the dynamic vocabulary...the structure of a story within a story within a story...the sadness of the disappointment and eventual horror of creating a disappointed and eventually desperately sad being...the resonating depth of the implications of creation...a brilliant work.

Well, I finally did it. I read Frankenstein. And it was nothing like I'd imagined. Who was Frankenstein and what terrible things did he do? So now I know.
Victor Frankenstein was an idiot college student who decided to rob graveyards and put bits and pieces together to form a man. He managed to bring the monster-man to life and then all hell broke loose.
Great story. Seriously... well-written. I'm not a fan of the horror genre but still I admire well-written literature when I see it. Awesome. But ...more
