What Members Thought
Overall, a pretty satisfying end to an excellent series by Pearl Buck. Book III of the Good Earth trilogy focuses primarily on Yuan, with his cousins taking minor roles in this one. The themes of this book center around the new versus the old (since some of the book is set during the Chinese revolution) rich versus poor, and foreign versus national.
