I think this is my favorite Shakespeare play. I love Shylock. One of Shakespeare's talents, I feel, is his ability to create morally ambiguous characters, like Shylock, Iago, and Henry V. Because of Shakespeare's writing, I can understand the characters and relate to their motivations, yet at the same time I despise their actions.
