Stayed up reading this until the middle of the night and had no regrets the next morning at work when I felt like a zombie. The environment at first is so comfortable and idealistic that you almost forget it is a murder mystery - the reality of this undercuts the warm surroundings that the author crafts for us and the book gets progressively more fast paced, dark and thrilling.
Loved this book and am definitely going to read the rest of this author's work.

This was my third Tana French book and although not quite as good as Faithful Place and In the Woods, it was still a good read. She does such a good job with setting - Whitethorn House was definitely a character in the book. Great story line, but way too much conversation - i think if it had been edited down a bit i would have liked it more.
