I gave Namesake and Unaccustomed Earth 5 stars so i was expecting to be more impressed by her Pulitzer prize winning book. Shorts stories that are unrelated yet work together to create a tapestry that reveals truths about people making their way in a global society which is ever changing and ever remaining the same. Insightful stories about the merging of cultures and immigrants adapting to a new location, which sometimes becomes home. This 2000 Pulitzer Prize winner is an easy, worthwhile read.
