Ceea ce vreau să scriu în continuare se vrea a fi o părere proprie despre ceea ce a însemnat pentru mine romanul lui Isabel Allende, Casa spiritelor. Pentru mine nu a fost o lectură ușoară, ci niște pagini profunde pline de semnificații multiple. Înainte de acest roman, am citit Zorro și vreau să spun că față de acest roman, Casa spiritelor a fost mai mult decât o joacă de-a cititul. (...)

A long, packed book about the Trueba family in South American country. Full of tragedies, historical moments, fired up romance: a true epic.

Even though it's long, this book is still enjoyable, and the translation version is also good. Isabel Allende is a master of storytelling. I can't get enough of the Truebas and even googled the history of Chile after reading this book. ...more
