What Members Thought

I read The Pilgrimage in Spain and loved the knowledge it gave me of Spain, the culture and the relevance to the church. His journey on the road to Santiago is a journey I want to take one day. This is worthy of re-read.

While this felt a little slow to me at times, I always enjoy Coelho's real-life-fantasy way of writing about the world. I wonder how much of his experiences are true in the same way many of us wonder about Carlos Castenada or the Celestine Prophecy. Coelho is really one in a million and makes me feel that there is still mystery and magic in the world.

I read this because we are thinking about walking this trail. We probably won't have such a magical journey, but you never know...
