Just as fun as the first one, although for some reason it took me a while to get into the story, so I let the book rest a few days. The further I read, the more addictive it became.

Peabody and Emerson have been stuck in England since the birth of their son Ramses and they are bored. Enter Lady Baskerville who asks Emerson to come finish an excavation started by her recently deceased husband. After leaving Ramses with relatives they take off for Egypt. The duo find themselves fending off rumors of a curse and dealing with several more dead bodies. This is my second read of the series. Not as strong as other entries in the series - the plot is somewhat recycled from the previous book, but the trademark Peters wit is still in effect.

Enjoyed this second book of the series. Entertaining & light.
