Review later...but I loved this book. I don't think I would have enjoyed it as much, had I not been in a similar state of "waiting" in my own life. It was brutally honest, and it was also one of the most poignant tales I've gotten sucked into.

A good read with an interesting look at Chinese culture. I read this awhile back, but remember how loyalty and the sense of obligation in regard to the main female character really moved me.
