I realized that people don't write their memoirs or autobiography if they haven't triumphed over adversity, but that's one of the primary reasons that I enjoy reading these types of books.

Portia de Rossi writes a very interesting, if at not times, distressing, novel about her battles with food and coming to terms with her sexuality.
