What Members Thought

A grave, direct commentary on many things in society: leadership, interpretation, self government, class, human motivation, and more. Published in 1932, it says something about the changes that some thinkers of that time foresaw for their future. A must-read if you are studying the 20th century. but a season other than the holiday season might be a more choice time!

Wow. This book is powerful and it's amazing how relevant it is 80 years later. We still wrestle with the same problems of conformity and knowledge vs. happiness. It really had me thinking and I couldn't put it down. I'm surprised it has taken me this long to read it and I wish I had read it in school to get the benefit of the discussion that would have surrounded it.
