What Members Thought
A beautiful story of wanderlust that made me want to blow into new places on the wind. The writing grips you early with its charming and eccentric characters and holds you through the well-crafted tale of enlightenment versus prejudism. It is romantically written with a flare of mysticism that I loved...not to mention that it made me long for a velvety rich cup of cocoa.

I wasn't drawn into it right away, but the more I read, I was. Harris has that "confusing writing style" at times which is most annoying. At times, I have no idea what she's talking about. But it's a good story and I like her message about religious people.

probably would really give a 2.5 stars. either this was a little disjointed or I was distracted while reading. I know that Vianne's life was disjointed so maybe J. Harris accomplished what she was trying to convey
