Woolf's _To The Lighthouse_, like her other works, sneaks up on you like a wave when you're gazing back at the shore and knocks you down unexpectedly. With salt water ingested and sand in your nails, you get back up and swim out to sea to indulge yourself in where the wave originated.
We should all be so grateful that Virginia Woolf, despite bouts of depression, paranoia and her ultimate suicide, had uninterupted moments of artistic genius and glory that have lasted long past her haunted life.

Up to know I read about 60-70 pages from this book and my feeling is that it is hard to classify it. Actually it did not catch me as it should until now. Let's see later.
Not too many noticeable things to tell, even after I completed it. It seems to me a kind of novel I do not get along with. Let's hope Orlando is better.
