This was a solid 3 stars for me, but I probably would have rated the book higher if I hadn’t listened to the audio version. The narrator used the same intonation for every sentence, except when there was dialogue. When the main character spoke or when there was no dialogue at all, the narrator sounded like a cross between an artificial intelligence voice and an investigative reporter from a local news station. Very annoying.

Really enjoyed how twisted this was (LOL).. it started out a little slow, but got a lot better. The whole idea behind the novel is interesting, not your usual narrative.
