What Members Thought
I couldn’t finish the book. I tried but I’m really put off by how many Muslim / Arab-American novelists portray Muslim Arab-Americans without a shred of religion. As a group that is already so maligned in media, they further malign their Arab parents and/ or their religion and/or their culture. So for me personally, it’s not a read I’m into.
