The pros: an interracial romance, and also one that involves a plus size woman...and neither of these things are treated as an issue. Refreshing! Also, the heroine suffers from a chronic but "invisible" illness, Fibromyalgia, and it is good to see this treated in a sympathetic manner.
The cons: so many tropes and cliches...opposites attract,

A lovely, pleasant, feel-good read with good characterisation, interesting plot that does not have any forced conflict sprung on the reader, and two utterly likeable protagonists. So good to read about a disabled Black woman getting on with life and being the romantic heroine in her own story. And so good to read a sensitive man. This was the story I never knew I needed. As most people who know me know I rarely read romance and, even less so do I read books that feature conditions I have because they never usually come close to my experiences. This however was different.
