Laurie Moran is a tv producer whose husband is murdered in front of their three year old son. Five years later Laurie is still afraid the killer will come after her and her son. Meanwhile Laurie is creating a new show about unsolved murders starting with the murder of a hedge fund managers wife at a graduation ball twenty years earlier. There are compelling parts to both stories but there are some major problems with timelines in the book and the ending is really rushed and didn't make much sens
