This was beautiful and sad and captivating right from the start. SR has written such a painful and real relationship. She also masterfully crafts very tragic moments that are scary in there mundanity. I feel like this is going to stick with me for a while.

It seems like this a book people love or hate. I read it in a day, cried through a lot of it and feel a little wrung dry so I'm not sure that says something about me or the book itself. I think this book feels real in how some people are just connected to each other in a way that feels good and destructive simultaneously. I feel like the ending may also be controversial but I feel like it couldn't have ended any other way. ...more
