What an interesting book! It is of special appeal to librarian and all book lovers who care about libraries. It deals with the tragic library fire in the huge Central Library of Los Angeles and the devastating losses that occurred. But it is more than just a description of a tragedy and it aftermath; it is a volume of history and hope for book lovers everywhere.
