This book is frenetic, unpredictable, and deep. The author wanted to write like Agatha Christie, but it morphed into a Christie-meets-videogaming kind of scenario, trapping characters into a game forcing them to solve a murder. If they can't solve the murder they will be trapped in the game forever, so what does hell look like? Maybe this is it?

I enjoyed what the author was trying to conceive with this murder mystery. The main character is Aiden Bishop (although I still don't know who he is or were he came from ... This was a very creative thriller/mystery. For those who love a puzzle when they are reading this will be a real treat. The only reason I did not give this a 5 star is the difficulty getting engaged at the beginning of the book. I promise it is worth sticking it out. If you really get stuck, try it in audio format- the British accent will win you over and keep you listening. At times it can be confusing to keep all the characters straight but eventually it all makes sense.

I love a good who-dun-it, and this one is deeply complex and kept me guess right to the end, which rarely happens. I found it took me a little while to really connect to the story, but once I did, it was great fun. There are a ton of moving pieces in this mystery and it’s really impressive that the author ties them all up as well as he does.
