What Members Thought

Very beautiful, though hard to follow the line of the story at times. An unblinking look at the sorry lives of many Native Americans in contemporary Seattle by the foremost Native American writer. Devastating in some ways because the lives of so many of the characters were so sad and yet John, the central character, had every advantage offered to him and still could not find his way in white America. Some interesting and perplexing perspectives.
