A brief and personal account of the author's time volunteering to interview migrant children in 2014. I learned so much that I hadn't known: how most children migrate (on La Bestia with a coyote who they know nothing about); how most of the countries suffer from drug wars, which is not a national issue but a hemispheric and perhaps global issue; how in the US most children are not caught but go straight to authorities, as they really have nowhere to go. Important book. Needed an editor badly for repetition, word misuse, and work choice.
This is another book that I wish everyone in America would read!
