What Members Thought
I’m usually dubious of retellings. I want them to be something the author would recognize, not modern for modern’s sake or, worse, tawdry. I want to see the reflection of “manners” for a particular set because that’s the genius of the author, Austen in particular.

Fantastic! Layered, sweet and thoughtful, this YA retelling of Pride and Prejudice is not to be missed!
A fresh update of P&P, with emphasis on themes of family, community, class. Not as good as some retellings, though I did really like the relationships within the Benitez family.
