My first Rachel Caine thriller
Omg. This was so suspenseful and creepy and just perfect for me during the crazy business of life. I got lost in this woman's life and problems quite quickly. It's a super fast and interesting read with a strong female lead. And no major rom interests so it was more than enough to keep me entertained and to help keep my mind off some of life’s more difficult things.
It was so good that I can't wait to read Rachel Caine's next novel in this series.

Creeped me the f*** out
This book was incredibly well written and whatever marginal artistic license Ms. Caine took was well worth it. Just don't read it right before you go to bed. I am so glad I know what's in my garage. ...more

This was another book on someone's list of "best books of the decade". Must be worth a read, I thought, and it really was. A perfect father who is discovered (literally by accident) to be a serial killer, and a seemingly realistic portrayal of what that means to the family left behind when he is put in jail. It's exciting, has twists and turns and I raced through this. Will be reading the next one.
