The books in this series are wonderful written, with a great setting and really unique and interesting characters. In this story, an elderly woman is killed outside her home on a very foggy night, and the suspicion is that a man who was out hunting rabbits accidentally killed her. Of course, policeman Jimmy Perez and his assistant, Sandy, grandson of the murdered woman, suspect that all is not the way it seems. Not as strongly plotted as the previous two entries in this series, but still worthwhile for its depiction of Shetland Island life.
I enjoyed the plot although slightly annoyed that the author kept clues back from the reader so it wasn't possible to work it out.
