Hmm.. not the strongest of Lisa Jewell's, but I guess I'm a minority here. The premise is so good - a girl went missing one day, her family was devastated, and years later, her mom met a girl who looked exactly like her missing daughter- only a few years younger than when she's missing.
I do hope there are some satisfying twist, unexpected ending or genius revealing in the end, but apparantely, the book is so predictable even before the first half of the story. I just can't imagine a more straigh ...more

Four and a half stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟✨
I just finished this one on Audible and loved it. The characters were fabulous, as was the UK setting, and the narrator’s voices kept me fully invested. Then before I could even think about it, the middle to end flew by and were a great continuing thrill a minute, as well as a fine wrap up. New fan of Lisa Jewell !
