This was a fun interesting read. It felt very familiar so it must have a lot in common with Dan Brown's previous books, but i enjoyed the topic: religion vs science - lots of food for thought. One of my favorite characters was Winston - the AI computer. The setting this time is Barcelona - especially the Guggenheim Bilbao and the Sagrada Familia by the architect Gaudi. I have wanted to visit Barcelona since i read the wonderful "Shadow of the Wind" ages ago and this made me want to even more. I ...more

I will not reveal anything in saying that Brown is no Shakespeare but God (ha ha ) can he write page turner books. This one is not his best. Good for humanity that Langdon is there.

One of the things that have left me uncomfortable is that even though the book is trying to tell us that science and technology will be our new religion, that science is a must, that technology is good ... in the end, the machine is still the evil character in the book. Even with good intentions, Winston still kills

Looking beyond the shallow two-dimensional story to the very possible future reality beneath, this book takes on a much scarier perspective. Makes me want to toss technology and buy notebooks and fountain pens.

Unlike Infernal this was a great read. The Athiest VS. Creationism to name just one point. Again Brown shows us the world as only he can threw Langdon's polished eyes. Enjoyed it very much, ...more

Robert Langdon is at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao to attend his former student Edmond Kirch's presentation on "where did we come from?" and "where are we going?" The presentation is interrupted and Langdon ends up fleeing with the beautiful museum director Ambra Vidal. What I like about the early Langdon books is the hunt for clues and deciphering of codes to find some hidden secret. There is next to none of that in this book which I found to be disappointing. Langdon does travel around a bit an ...more

Another thrilling and keep you guessing Dan Brown-starring Robert Langdon- novel.

The premise basically is that a computer genius has been able to answer the question of "where do we come from" and "where are we going." Of course, this person Edmund Kirsch is a former student of Robert Langdon.

Robert receives an invitation with airline ticket requesting his presence at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao Spain. His former student has announced a statement that will change the course of the world and
