My Interest

I enjoyed the first book in this fun series, so when I needed an audio book while waiting on holds at the library, I decided that book two would be fun. (I do not usually review series books since it is so hard to avoid spoilers).

What a delightful mystery! This book is set in India, and features a detective, Vish Puri, who is very smart, instinctive, and very likeable. When there is a murder, supposedly by an incarnation of a Hindu deity, caught on tape and looking very realistic to all appearances, Vish Puri has to determine exactly what illusion the murderer used to cause the death. Not as good as his first one , but still gives a good look at how the locals view India today. The mystery part borders on cozy, the humor elevates it a notch.
