I totally enjoyed this book. I can see it not being something everyone would like, but I thought it was hilarious, sad, interesting and just an overall fun read.
I really liked this book and feel that the character development of Eleanor and Raymond was unique and excellent.
I was initially drawn to this book because the title character and I share the name of Eleanor. I was immediately taken in by this odd and interesting character. She was so well adjusted to her sad lonely life that she didn't seem to realize what a miserable existence she was living. The book is about her finding her way out of this solitary existence to a more meaningful life. The excellent narrator of this audiobook added to my enjoyment of the book and made the character of Eleanor really sta
